Cambria Elementary Band Visits IUP
On April 9th, 2014 Jackson and Cambria
Elementary band students visited to Indiana
University of Pennsylvania to have a side by side rehearsal with the Symphony Band. Dr. Jason
Worzbyt directed the rehearsal. The students played Fallbrook March, Star
Wars and Valley Circle with the IUP music students. The IUP Symphony Band
also played one of their songs that they are preparing for their own concert
this spring.
The transportation for this trip was funded by the Central
Cambria Education Foundation. Meals were provided for the students by the
Jackson and Cambria PTO and prepared by the Central Cambria Food Service.
Both Mr. Nagy and Ms. Douglas would like to thank everyone that made this
wonderful experience possible for the students.
