ACES Day at Jackson Elementary School

On May 22nd, we had our annual ACES (All Children Exercise Simultaneously) Day. There were about 60 high school students that came to Jackson Elementary School to help. All of the students participated in exercise and fun. There was also a cookout. A big thanks goes out to everyone who made this day a success!!

Cambria Elementary students invited to Steeler Football Clinic

As a reward for winning a Fuel Up to Play 60 Activity Scavenger Hunt Challenge, 18 students were selected to attend a football clinic at the training facility for the Pittsburgh Steelers on the South Side.  Students participated in a punt, pass, and kick contest, then toured the Steeler weight training and rehab facility.  The six Super Bowl trophies were viewed behind glass walls.  Before being served lunch, the students received autographs from Pittsburgh Steeler Cameron Heyward.  The day was filled with the excitement of being on the hallowed grounds of our beloved local NFL team.
