WPSU Public Television station's "Our Town" Ebensburg
will premiere on Thursday, May 22 at 8:00 pm. Mark your calendars to
watch this great video about our hometown area that features stories on
our students and teachers!........
1. Elementary students who did a special project writing cards
four times this school year to a battalion of US soldiers deployed to
Afghanistan. This project was coordinated by Janis Stratton that all CE
classroom teachers and I helped with. Kate Wolf did the videotaping with
the help of one of our student teachers Rachel Wagner.
2. Our high school musical theater program is also featured for
its impact on the community. Paul Seymour did the interview on camera and
the video and pictures were created by our musical “coaches” team of Jessica
Davis, Tom Nagy, Paul Seymour, Claire Houser and Kate Wolf.
3.A segment on the Ebensburg art scene includes Brian Dumm, our
middle school art teacher.
I was told there would be “extras” at the end of the program which will include video clips I submitted with some Jackson elementary students talking about their teachers and how they help and encourage them and what they learn in school, plus some Cambria elementary students who talked about what they want to teach the world.
