On March 14, 2009, the 4th and 5th grade girls from Jackson and Cambria Elementary Schools are invited to participate in the Girls Only Leadership Development at Jackson Elementary School from 9:45 AM – 2:45 PM. Women from the community will be presenting information to the girls about positive social skills and how to handle relational aggression. Some activities planned include basketball, manicures, Outdoor Odyssey rock wall climbing and a pizza party. This is a great way to hang out with old friends and meet new friends. Research has shown the more that we get to know each other the less likely we are to bully each other. We hope all will attend. This event is free thanks to contributions from the Central Cambria Education Foundation and the Cambria County Drug and Alcohol Program.
