Dr. Morgan Fedorchak Visits Science Classes at CCHS

Dr. Morgan Fedorchak is a professor and researcher at the University of Pittsburgh.  She has a BS in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a PhD in Bioengineering from Pitt.  Dr. Fedorchak spoke to approximately 75 of Mrs. Hoover’s high school science students on Thursday, May 14th.  She shared information with the students on the path that she followed and the choices that she made that led her to a successful career in science and engineering.  Dr. Fedorchak also presented information about some of the more recent research that she has been involved in.  She had a lot of really interesting things to talk about and cool things to pass around to the students in the classes.  The students were very interested in her career and the cutting edge technology that she designs and works with.  Dr. Fedorchak also has ties to Central Cambria as Dr. DiLeo is her dad!  Thank you Dr. Fedorchak for taking time out of your busy schedule to visit CCHS!
