CE Pow Wow

Our first grade students had the opportunity to participate in a Native American Pow Wow today. They made beaded necklaces, vests, totem poles, tom toms, and head dresses. The children gathered in the hallway and each class performed. There were songs, poems, and tom tom music. The children then went back to their classrooms to share some friendship mix for a snack. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!
