Students were called down to the gym to surprise first
grader Audrey Gokey with a special Thanksgiving day surprise. Mike Gokey
returned from being deployed for the last four months. Audrey had no idea that
her dad would be surprising her at school. Students gather in the gym waiting
for a special speaker, which was Mike. He and Audrey’s mom, grandmother and
sister were all hiding in the storage closed waiting for the signal to come
out.
