On Nov. 6th 30 students got aboard "ye ol bus" at 8:30 am to be delivered down to the YPCC. These Interact Club members served Thanksgiving Dinners to our loyal and hard working United Mine Worker retirees. This is a yearly program sponsored by Home Health Care. There were over 240 retired members and their families who participated in this program. Our 30 waiters and waitresses worked very hard and even found time to converse with some of the retirees about the "good old days". This is an event which The Interact Club has been privileged to be a part of for the past four years. The experience is invaluable and the opportunity to practice being a good person is always needed with our youth. I have received nothing but positive comments about our volunteers and the genuine kindness which they displayed.
