The Exploring Concepts of STEM
class at Central Cambria High School has been chosen to participate in the John
B. Gunter Program which is a STEM Job Shadowing Program based here in Cambria
County. Representatives from the
following businesses visited Central Cambria on Wednesday, March 18th
to outline the program for the students:
Penelec, Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), Enterprise Ventures
Corporation (EVC), Kongsberg Protech Systems, Pennsylvania Highlands Community
College, and Somerset Trust Company.
After completing a job-selection activity, the students will be placed
in a job shadowing experience that is aligned with their interests. At the conclusion of the job-shadowing
program, the participating students will be eligible for scholarship
