On February 23rd the concert bands from Central Cambria,
Cambria Heights and Northern Cambria collaborated to host "Composer in
Residence" Robert Sheldon, a nationally acclaimed composer, conductor and
educator. During the afternoon workshop students had the opportunity to work
directly with the composer and gained a personal and in-depth understanding of
the band pieces they are performing on their spring concerts that Mr. Sheldon
composed. Special thanks to the Central Cambria Education Fund's Venture Grant
that funded Central Cambria's portion of this once in a lifetime event.
