The Central Cambria High School Forensics team had a
successful season, despite all of the weather related schedule changes. The team participated in three regular season
district meets with many individual students being awarded ribbons at each
meet. The team attended the District meet at Richland High School and five
students qualified for the state competition and three students for the
national competition. The students who qualified for the state competition
were: Jessa Balough - Dramatic
Interpretation, Braden Hoffman and Cameron Hoffman - Duo Drama (district
champions), Hunter Fedora - Radio Announcing, and Kate Griffith -
Impromptu. The national qualifiers, as
determined at the district meet, were:
Jessa Balough - Dramatic Interpretation, Braden Hoffman and Cameron
Hoffman - Duo Drama. Unfortunately, the
Regional meet was cancelled this year and the team was unable to participate in
the State Competition also due to weather.
The CCHS Forensics team and coaches would like to thank the CCHS administration
and the CCSD board for their continued support of this activity!
