On December 19th, Jackson Elementary students were visited by a special guest from the IUP Chemistry Department. Dr. Lawrence Kupchella, Visiting Scientist Program Coordinator, presented "The Amazing Properties of Liquid Nitrogen". Through the financial support of the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP), our students were able to learn about the amazing changes that can occur within three of the four states of matter.
