and technology related activities, as well as the Science Bowl Competition. Mrs. Hoover was thrilled to receive financial assistance from the CC Education Foundation in order to make
this trip possible. Students had a chance to get a real feel for the broad range of opportunities associated with careers in science and technology, noting that about half of the “50 Best
Jobs in America” are associated with these fields. Along with exploring a university campus setting, CC students had the opportunity to network with teachers in a variety of science fields, and connect with other students who share their related school and career interests and aspirations.
