KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
CAMBRIA ELEMENTARY – March 23rd and March 24th   
JACKSON ELEMENTARY – March 25th and March 26th   
     
     Cambria Elementary School will hold kindergarten registration on Monday, March 23rd and Tuesday, March 24th.  Jackson Elementary School will hold kindergarten registration on, Wednesday, March 25th and Thursday (if needed), March 26th.  All parents must call Cambria Elementary School at 472- 8432 and Jackson Elementary School at 749-8421 to pre-register for the time and date of their appointment.
     To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be five years of age on or before August 31, 2015; have three DTP plus one dose after the child’s fourth birthday, three Polio, three Hepatitis B, two MMRs and two Varicella vaccines (Chicken Pox).
     Jackson Elementary Principal, Tricia Murin, and Cambria Elementary Principal, Jennifer Mesoras, requests all children attend registration along with their parents/guardians.
     The Cambria Elementary and Jackson Elementary Parent Teacher Organization will be at the school to assist in the registration.

High School After - School Tutoring Available

CCHS will be offering after-school tutoring from 3:00 – 4:00 pm during the 3rd 9-weeks.



Students who need assistance are encouraged to stay for the following support from CCHS teachers:



Monday  - Math


Tuesday – Math/Science


Wednesday – Spanish/English


Thursday – General for any subject area


There is no charge for the tutoring services.  Students must have a ride home when tutoring sessions end at 4:00. 




We hope many students will take advantage of this great opportunity to improve their academic performance as we begin the second half of the school year. If you need further information, please contact the main office or guidance office.  

Nice Work CCHS Forensics Team!

 On January 14th the CCHS Forensics team travelled to Somerset High School for their second meet of the year! 
The team took home seven ribbons!

Braden and Cameron Hoffman - 2nd place Duo Drama
Jessa Balough - 3rd place Dramatic Interpretation
Sage Ferchalk - 1st place Dramatic Interpretation

Josh Hodgson - 4th place Prose

Although the following CCHS students did not walk away with ribbons, they represented CCHS well in the following categories:

Kate Griffith - Oral Declamation
Abby Morrell/Connor Farabaugh - Duo Drama


The CCHS Forensics team will be headed to Conemaugh Township on Wednesday, January 28th for Meet #3!

JE Rain Forest

The Rain Forest visited Jackson Elementary today. Students got a preview show of some of the Rain Forest animals. Some of the animals that the students got to see were parrots, toucans, snakes, pikachu, and a monkey. There will be a full show held tonight at Blacklick Valley at 5PM & 7PM. Admission is $5.00.
