Superhero Day at CE!

Guidance counselor Kate Wolf worked with students in guidance classes during April and May on the theme of heroes.  We talked about how everyone is a hero when they are kind to others, when they are helpful, respectful, and positive!  Kate Wolf got “heroic” support from Jessica Nagy and Donna Kirsch ( elementary art teachers who helped students create their own superhero Tshirts to wear for the celebration day May 7 and 8) and with Tom Nagy, Greg Nicoloff and Melissa Douglas (elementary music teachers) who infused music lessons with hero themed music and student created music videos.

On our celebration days at each building all students and faculty were invited to see a video from “Kid President”, hear some inspirational quotes from students from each grade, view the student produced music videos and to dance together in the gym to have some fun with all of our everyday heroes!

Attached is a link to the Kid President video and the slide shows from these celebrations- enjoy!
