Jackson Elementary Christmas Concert

The 4^th and 5^th grade chorus and band students at Jackson Elementary School will present their Christmas Concert on December 12^th at 7:00 at the Jackson Elementary School.  There will be a $2.00 admission fee. This money will go towards the Central Cambria School District’s Music Department.

2010-2011 State Report Card Now Available

The 2010-2011 State Report Card is now available on Pennsylvania’s public AYP website: paayp.emetric.net.

Pennsylvania’s Report Card details 2011 information on achievement, accountability, highly qualified teachers, and other indicators. The report card is a public document that can be accessed by anyone interested in viewing a wide variety of state, district, and school performance reports.

You do not need a password to access the public AYP website. To view the 2010-2011 State Report Card, select the “State Report” tab from the PA AYP home page. From the State Report page, select “View 2010-2011 Report Card” to view the document.

The Central Cambria Education Foundation announced the launch of their new website. Visit www.cceducationfoundation.com and check out the Foundation's latest initiatives to help support the students at Central Cambria School District.

Apples For The Students Program

Parents and friends of our school can register their Giant Eagle Advantage Card by accessing www.gianteagle.com/about/apples-for-students or calling (800) 474-4777. The phone system is automated and simple to use. You will need both our school ID number which is #0165 and your 12 digit number on the back of your advantage card when your register. Once registered, all of your purchases will be directly credited as points to our school (it will not affect your gas perks). At the end of the program, these points will be redeemed for school equipment. The program runs from October 1st through March 17th. Thanks for taking this step to help us obtain needed supplies and equipment for Central Cambria Middle School Students!

Jackson Elementary Playground

With the great help of our PTO, the Jackson Elementary School’s playground now has swings. A special thanks to Jen and Jason Gillin, Amy and Todd Hays, and Mr. Daron Murton for volunteering their time and making this happen for the Jackson Elementary Students.
